I have question about licensing. Windows Server R2 Foundation has limit of 15 users. Is this limitation for Windows accounts? More specifically, lets say I have 3 Windows accounts on my machine and IIS web server which hosts popular web site and runs under one Windows account.
If my web site is used by thousand concurrent “application users”, can I use this version of Windows Server for such purpose?
Or does 15 user limitation means that IIS will also allow only 15 concurrent connections? Using the Server Software : You may install and use one copy of the server software on the licensed server.
You may create up to 15 accounts “User Accounts” that can access and use the server software. User Accounts are assigned to the licensed server and only permit access to that server.
